Not since Ronald Regan has there been a force this powerful in the Republican party. A household name thanks to his American success story in real estate and his time hosing “The Apprentice” reality TV show, Donald Trump shocked the world with his rise to power by understanding what everyday Americans wanted.

Trump rose to defeat not just Hillary Clinton but the corporate media, which mustered all its force to ensure he lost the 2016 Presidential election. Outmanouvered by Trump, he called the media the enemy of the people and his calls of “fake news” were un-ignorable by them. He knew that they would have no choice but to cover him, giving him national attention while similtaneously revealing themselves as the opposition.

The rise of digital media and Trump’s grasp of the power of social networks like Twitter also allowed him to circumvent cable news and ensure that they had to cover him or their ratings would fall. His rise was also aided by the Right’s newfound ability to communicate with their base via the internet on sites like Breitbart.com.

President Donald Trump’s legacy, which is quickly being undone by the Biden Administration, remains a shockingly powerful one. In four years in office, despite a unified effort by the Democratic party (including the mainstream media) to never transition power and neverending impeachment witch hunts, the Trump Whitehouse strengthened borders and reduced illegal immigration. It didn’t start any wars, while imposing its power on the world to keep dangerous nations in check. The Trump Administration withdrew from appalling Obama-era agreements with Iran and strengthened the county’s ties with Israel, while negotiating peace agreements in the middle east.

Trump increasingly pulled back from the United Nations, criticized the organization publicly and reduced funding to it, while forcing allies in NATO to contribute their share to maintain global stability.

At home Trump oversaw an economic boom, critically among black and latino groups, with record low unemployment and record increases in income and home ownership. Middle class taxes were cut by $3.2 trillion, he oversaw a plan to bring manufacturing back to America and in doing so created 1.2 million manufacturing jobs.

He also protected America from an onslaught of socialist ideas over the next several decades by appointing three conservatives to the Supreme Court.

President Donald Trump did all this while fighting the media every minute of every day and flipped the script on the Democrats, exposing them as the real oppressors of the poor, the friends of the Wall Street elite, the promoters of do-nothing politicians, the exploiters of race and the enemy of average Americans.
