David Horowitz Books

Often the most outspoken allies of a cause are the converts and that’s most certainly true with David Horowitz.

Called a “red diaper baby” he was raised in a Marxist household and followed the tradition through school and into his intellectual career, writing numerous books on Marxist ideas. He was also an activist and supported the Black Panthers. His “conversion” to Conservatism came somewhere in the 1970s or ’80s and was sparked, in part, when a friend of his was murdered, something he believed was done by the Black Panthers.

Horowitz went mostly silent from 1978 to 1989, and then came out swinging for the Right in Radical Son: A Generational Oddysey. This autobiography details his upbringing and transformation to a Conservative. Since then Horowitz has been a vocal critic of the Left and set out to attack them in his works, but also on the ground, in America’s universities. He was well-versed in how socialists use campuses to grow their base and knew the Right had to do the same. To that end he founded the monthly magazine “Heterodoxy,” as well as the David Horowitz Freedom Center (formerly the Center for the Study of Popular Culture) with his ally Peter Collier. That organization is responsible for a new generation of Conservatives like Jack Posobiec.

Horowitz’s many books cover topics such as Marxism, as well as the intolerance and hatred of the Left. He’s more of an interventionist than many in the modern Trump-led Republican party, though he backs up his calls for action with reasoned arguments.

I Can’t Breathe: How a Racial Hoax Is Killing America

David Horowitz isn’t one to shy away from controversial topics and his latest book does not disappoint.

In “I Can’t Breathe,” he challenges the notion of systemic racism and he does so through a careful analysis of the 26 most controversial and most public examples of alleged police racism, from George Floyd to Breonna Taylor.

By breaking down the fact, Horowitz outlines how there is no racism in these cases and never was.

Horowitz also outlines how the myth of systemic racism is being used to divide a country, make life work for black Americans and keep the Democrats in power.

Radical Son: a Generational Odyssey

His coming-out book, Horowitz details his defection from the Left in this insightful autobiography. More than crossing the isle, he has leaped the political chasm, having seen the evil of the Left and now using their tactics against them.

Politics of Bad Faith: The Radical Assault on America’s Future

This 1998 work almost predicts the world we live in today, divided between those who support the founding principles upon which democracy is founded and those who wish to tear them down. Documenting the rise of Marxist thought in France and Russia, to todays “progressive” ideology, Horowitz details how the push for enforced equality stands in opposition to the basic tenants of freedom.

He described this divide as creating a cold-war of sorts between the two sides. While it’s far from rifles in the streets, it’s fair to note that today’s culture war is hotter than ever.

Hating Whitey and Other Progressive Causes

Not one to mince words, Horowitz’s work “Hating Whitey” tackles the Left’s blatant anti-white racism. A former associate of the Black Panthers he has a unique perspective on how Democrats loathe “whiteness,” and how they use anti-white racism in their culture war to dismantle America.

Horowitz isn’t shy in pointing out that, for its faults, America and the West were founded predominantly by white Christian men and how American has done more to give all human beings rights and opportunities unheard of in all of history.

And the world agrees, with people of all nations and creeds flocking to America to enjoy its freedom and prosper in its success.

Shadow Party: How George Soros, Hillary Clinton and Sixties Radicals Seized Control of the Democratic Party

Just five years ago, David Horowitz’s claims of extremists inside the Democratic party, hell-bent on permanently reshaping America in a Marxist vision, might have seemed a bit alarming. Dubbed a Shadow Party, Horowitz and co-author Richard Poe bring to light new evidence of just such a cause.

In the hindsight of the 2020 election these extremists have now become emboldened and there’s no doubt his warnings were well-founded.

Yet another instance of Horowitz’s crystal ball, the continued evidence should give anyone pause to consider that his next dire warning is likely also right on the mark.

BIG Agenda: President Trump’s Plan to Save America

In this inspiring and practical work, Horowitz lays out a how-to plan for the Trump Administration and Republicans to take back control of America in what he calls the “conservative restoration.”

President Trump’s unforeseen victory brought about the opportunity to reset America on its original path and, if not squandered, could change the political, social and economic course of the county.

In the book Horowitz predicts many of Trump’s main agenda points, some of which he enacted and some he did not. He lays them out as a plan of must-dos for the Trump Administration, but underscores that his success lies in understanding the enemy and their fundamental opposition to the American way of life.

One could argue, President Trump’s failures are uniquely tied to a lack of believe in this idea by establishment Republicans.

Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America

A call to protect the founding principles of America, David Horowitz argues in his book “Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America,” that in doing so one must defend Christianity.

Written by an agnostic Jew, Horowitz details how every-day Democrats espouse radical views to rid America of Christianity and explains exactly the measures they’re taking to cancel Christianity.

He argues that, ultimately, if we remove Judeo-Christian values from our culture, the fundamental rights of our society won’t have a leg to stand on.

BLITZ: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win

David Horowits’s predictions are almost always right, though in his 2020 book “Blitz” his prognostication that Trump would win the 2020 election turned out to be quite wrong. (Then again, perhaps the battle isn’t over yet?)

This book is not just a call for why President Trump will win a second term but how he adeptly side-stepped their every attack.

He documents the Left’s incessant attack on Trump, its many lies, and why it backfired. He also highlights the 9 biggest threats the Left faces to America.

“This is the book your anti-Trump relatives and friends should read…as clear a moral indictment of the anti-Trump left as has been written.” — Dennis Prager, President of PragerU
