Sports reporter turned political commentator and host, Brian Kilmeade’s books focus on American history and his love of sport.
Currently he is a co-host of Fox’s Fox & Friends morning show and also hosts his own Fox News Radio program The Brian Kilmeade Show.
Kilmeade joined Fox back in 1997. Prior to that he worked for numerous sports stations and was also a correspondent for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
His first two books both focus on the power of sports, the lessons to be learned and the inspiration it can give.
He then turned his focus to American history where he’s published a half-dozen books focused on unsung heroes and their interaction with great American personalities and events, like the “Secret Six” spy ring who helped George Washington defeat the British or General Sam Houston who assembled an army of Texas settlers to avenge the defeat at the Alamo.
Several of Kilmeade’s historical books have also been adapted for younger audiences.
Note: If American history told by a Conservative author strikes a cord with you, we also recommend another host and author Bill O’Reilly and his “Killing Series.”
