Get It Together: Troubling Tales from the Liberal Fringe: How Personal Trauma Shapes Political Activism
When Jesse Watters set out to interview a few dozen radical activists to uncover the origins of their wild ideas, he discovered two surprising things:
First, he liked these people.
Second, their political stances weren’t primarily influenced by books, teachers, or other activists. Instead, they stemmed from personal drama. Most of these individuals didn’t need legislation; they needed a therapist.
In Get It Together, the number one New York Times bestselling author and Fox News primetime host tackles Wokeism like no one else. Through a series of deeply personal interviews with some of the country’s most radical activists, Watters reveals that these individuals might be overlooking the most important change they need to make—within themselves.
From climate change advocates and proponents of Black supremacy to social justice warriors, a professional cuddler, and a transwoman who identifies as a wolf, Watters illustrates how many well-meaning Americans have embraced causes driven by people who are often illogical, emotional, and misinformed.
Through their stories, Watters uncovers common threads—childhood traumas, broken relationships, and a lack of introspection. What if those obsessed with saving the world are actually hurting from how this one has treated them? What if the deeper root of our country’s political divide is not ideological disagreements, but personal pain?
Funny, fresh, and fascinating, Get It Together is sure to spark important conversations and inspire us to see each other not as political opponents, but as real, broken human beings.
How I Saved The World
In How I Saved the World, Jesse Watters takes readers on a journey through his life, from his early days as a basement-dwelling Fox News minion to his current role as a champion for right-thinking Americans. Through his experiences of asking oblivious college students basic political questions on beaches and disembarking Air Force One with the President, Watters has uncovered profound truths about the nature of our country.
Throughout the book, Watters offers insightful suggestions for combating left-wing radicalism, preserving American democracy, moving beyond aging hippies (including his loving, long-suffering parents), and saving the world from social justice warriors and the deep state—all delivered with his signature smirk.
Watters outlines the clear choice facing us: between all-American hamburgers and the leftist Green New Deal breadlines (an obvious decision, really). He maps out a path for restoring order and fairness. How I Saved the World is both a manifesto and a call to arms from a man for all seasons. This hilarious, enlightening, and entertaining book even boasts a reasonable chance of winning a Nobel Prize in every category, including chemistry.
