The ultimate undercover journalist, James O’Keefe is the founder of Project Veritas, which has exposed massive scandals and abuse, prompting firings, lawsuits, new legislation and congressional inquiries. From there he turned his attention to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) using a similar tactic to catch employees advising illegal activities at facilities all across the country. Working with Andrew Breitbart, O’Keffe’s investigation became so big it brought in additional investigate journalists from mainstream media and eventually led to the Democtratic party deciding to defund the organization, permanently crippling it.

His investigations into NPR led to numerous firings and early retirements while his 2016 investigations into voter fraud uncovered numerous Democrats not only admitting to fraud but encouraging it.

With President Donald Trump turning his focus on the fake new media, O’Keffe targeted CNN, using inside sources to reveal numerous instances of bias. From there he’s also performed high lvel stings inside the tech giants like Google.

The title of the book references the Russian newspaper Pravda, highlighting the obvious comparisons between America’s corporate media and the state-run propaganda arm of the Soviets. The difference, is that in America, the lie is more subtle. The only difference between the two is that in the USSR, the Russians knew they were being lied to.
