Award-winning author, Jim Proser has written numerous books on varied topics and individuals with a general theme of personal integrity. Proser grew up first in New Hope, Pennsylvania as the fourth of five sons of Monte Proser and actress Jane Ball. Proser senior founded nightclubs, including the iconic Copacabana.

Jim Proser began his writing career as a reporter for the Lambertville, NJ Beacon newspaper at the age of 15 and has since written for the Bucks County Courier Times, Investor’s Business Daily and National Review Online. He has written screen plays for numerous TV series and movies, including one based on his first book Mr. Copacabana; An American History by Night, which details the life of his father, who founded the club and go mixed up with the mob.
